Marucci Sports is an American baseball equipment manufacturer. It was founded in 2003 by Jack Marucci, an athletic trainer at Louisiana State University (LSU), along with former MLB players Kurt Ainsworth and Joe Lawrence. The company started in Marucci's backyard shed, where they handcrafted bats for his son and his teammates.
In Japan, Marucci is primarily known for its bats, but their gloves are also high quality and used by players such as Alex Bregman and Kevin Gausman.

The Capitol series is Marucci's top-tier line of adult gloves. These gloves use Japanese-tanned USA kip leather, which is extremely lightweight yet highly durable.
